SPIRITBOX’s COURTNEY LAPLANTE Teams Up with PVRIS on “My House” Rerelease

While Courtney LaPlante was quick to admit she was actually, in fact, Poppy at the Grammys earlier this month, she seems to be feeling more like herself on PVRIS‘ newest single.

Earlier this week saw PVRIS rerelease famous track, “My House,” from over a decade ago, but with a more modern twist – a feature from Spiritbox‘s own, Courtney LaPlante.

“My House” is still technically the same as it was ten years ago, yet small embellishments to synthesisers, guitars, and production as a whole sees the track rejuvenated. This is the first single off of PVRIS‘ upcoming 10-year anniversary rerelease of their debut record, White Noise.

LaPlante told PVRIS that White Noise served as part of the inspiration for Spiritbox, leading to PVRIS-mastermind Lynn Gunn believing “it was only right” to have LaPlante on the upcoming rerelease.

With a nomination for Best Metal Performance at the 2024 Grammys, critical acclaim on their debut record, 2025 is gearing up to be a hell of a good one for Spiritbox. With only the best yet to come, their second release, Tsunami Sea, is due out March 7th. The record can be pre-ordered here.
