SUICIDAL TENDENCIES Reveal Their New Drummer, X (XAVIER WADE)

Yesterday, Suicidal Tendencies announced that they had found a replacement for their now ex-drummer, Jay Weinberg, who had been recruited within the last two years. Attributing his departure to the upcoming birth of his child and focusing more on passion projects rather than full-time drumming duties in Suicidal Tendencies two weeks ago, it seems like a friendly enough split, making the introduction of their new drummer a hell of a lot smoother.

Posting to socials a photo with X (formally known as Xavier Ware), the caption reads:

“We’re SToked to introduce you to X, the new SxTx drummer!

X has already recorded some tracks for the new Cyco Miko [Suicidal Tendencies‘ frontman Mike Muir‘s solo project] album and is ready to officially jump on board with [Suicidal Tendencies] STarting with the ShipRocked Cruise.

This will be ST’s 3rd time doing ShipRocked and each time keeps getting better.
Looking forward to seeing you there and or [at] any of the shows/festivals coming this year.

So please welcome X and look out for lots of new announcements coming soon from ST and the Cyco Family for 2026 and beyond!”
