Certain – Whatever I Do

‘Whatever I Do’by Certain is a track could’ve come straight out of Motown. It has all the attributes. The constant beat, the tambourine, the strings, the horns and it’s all topped off with a wonderfully soulful voice and excellent production. There’s some real artistry here – it’s quite a feat to make something that sounds like it came from the 60’s but with very 21st century musical quality.

The vocal really is excellent and the song sustains its energy all the way through with not an instrument out of place. ‘Whatever I Do’ really is a joyous number.
