Regional Creeps – Do It For Yourself

Regional Creeps are a four-piece indie rock band from Barnsley, Yorkshire. ‘Do It For Yourself’ is their new single, and the lead track from their upcoming second album, November’s ‘No One Cares’ –  the follow-up to 2019’s ‘Never Gonna Happen’.

This song reminds me a lot of chilled 90’s rock, and I really like it. Giving off summery, laid-back vibes, it tells the listener to sit back, relax and, if we’re to do anything, to do it for ourselves.

They follow up this self caring attitude with concern for our health – perhaps this is an allusion to all the stresses and worries of the world. It certainly is a track which provides an escape from everything that’s going on right now.
