Teddy Swims Delivers Soulful ‘Mr. Know It All’ at 2026 AMAs

Teddy Swims delivered a standout performance of his recent hit, “Mr. Know It All,” on Sunday night at the 2026 American Music Awards. Introduced by fellow Georgian Mariah the Scientist, the singer commanded the stage, which was artfully designed to resemble a weathered, boarded-up house.

Backed by a stripped-back arrangement featuring plucky guitar and hand drums, Swims showcased his signature soulful vocal range. The performance captured the essence of the track, which explores the bittersweet anticipation of a relationship’s inevitable end.

Although more than a year has passed since the release of his 2025 album, I’ve Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 2), Swims continues to maintain significant momentum. His collaboration with David Guetta and Tones and I, “Gone Gone Gone,” is currently nominated for Collaboration of the Year at this year’s ceremony. Additionally, he recently contributed the track “You’ve Got Another Thing Coming” to the soundtrack for the second season of Nobody Wants This.

Swims has been a consistent presence on the live circuit, notably turning heads during both weekends of Coachella this past April. His sets, which featured guest appearances by David Lee Roth, Joe Jonas, and Vanessa Carlton, were widely praised for their energy and musicality. During those performances, he notably gave “Mr. Know It All” its live debut, cementing it as a fan favorite.

The 2026 American Music Awards, hosted by Queen Latifah, are being held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Taylor Swift leads the evening with eight nominations, including Artist of the Year, while Sabrina Carpenter, Morgan Wallen, Olivia Dean, and Sombr each hold seven nominations.
