A WAKE IN PROVIDENCE Splits With Vocalist ADAM MERCER

A Wake In Providence has split with vocalist Adam Mercer, who joined them in 2018 after the departure of Will Ramos when he left to join Lorna Shore.
A Wake In Providence didn’t go into much detail about why they split with Mercer, only noting that he’s moved “on to new endeavors” and that there’s “no negativity between the remaining members and Adam.” Mercer has not yet issued his own statement on why he left A Wake In Providence.
“We regret to announce the departure of our vocalist Adam Mercer from AWIP,” wrote the band. “We wish him the best in his future endeavors in music and his personal life. We want to thank Adam for all he has contributed to the band. There is no negativity between the remaining members and Adam. AWIP will continue.”
In a related statement, the band continued: “We’re beyond grateful to [Adam Mercer] for everything he’s brought to AWIP—his passion, talent, and dedication have left a lasting mark on this band and our fans. As he moves on to new endeavors, we wish him nothing but success and continued growth. We know our fans will join us in supporting him wherever the road takes him. This isn’t the end of AWIP, just the close of an incredible chapter. AWIP will continue.”
