DIMMU BORGIR Has A New Guitarist

Dimmu Borgir guitarist and bassist Galder quit the band in August 2024 to focus on his other project Old Man’s Child, who hasn’t put out a new record since 2009. Dimmu Borgir has since begun working on a new record, and now they’ve got a new guitarist as well.
Dimmu Borgir has recruited Kjell “Damage” Karlsen, who’s best known as the frontman of Chrome Division — a band that also features Dimmu Borgir vocalist Shagrath.
“We’re excited to proudly welcome Damage to the team, and we’re all looking forward to sharing the stage with him this summer and onwards,” wrote Dimmu Borgir on their social media. “It’s already been a pleasure working and rehearsing with Damage over the last couple of months and we hope that you, the fans, will join us in welcoming him to the line up!”
Dimmu Borgir has the following tour dates lined up for this August as a part of their Chosen Legacy tour.
