Ex-DRAGONFORCE Vocalist ZP THEART Recruits BRADLEY HALL, SOPHIE BURRELL & SYNDRONE For Reimagined “Through The Fire And Flames”

Iconic metal vocalist ZP Theart has officially released a 20th anniversary reimagining of the power metal classic “Through the Fire and Flames,” marking two decades since the original recording first ignited the genre. The newly released version is described by Theart as a heartfelt gift to the fans who have supported him since the early 2000s.
Rather than a straightforward cover, the anniversary release presents a fully modernized reinterpretation. For the project, Theart partnered with producer and multi-instrumentalist Syndrone, who handled a complete sonic overhaul of the track. The refreshed instrumentation gives the legendary song a contemporary edge while preserving the intensity and spirit that made it a defining anthem.
Honoring the song’s infamous technical difficulty, the new version also features jaw-dropping guest guitar solos from rising modern guitar stars Sophie Burrell and Bradley Hall. Each brings their own distinct style and precision to the track, weaving fresh technical fury into the familiar framework.
“This song changed so many lives, along with my own, and I thought it was time to give it a proper re-visit,” said Theart. “Working with Syndrone to modernize the sound while having Sophie and Bradley add their incredible styles was the perfect way to celebrate this 20 year milestone.”
Reflecting further on the release, Theart emphasizes its emotional connection to longtime listeners. “Revisiting this song after twenty years is about honoring the incredible energy the fans have kept alive since the very beginning. I wanted to stay true to that spirit while also pushing the sound forward. Working with Syndrone, Sophie, and Bradley brought that same intensity, but with a new perspective for what comes next.”
The 20th anniversary version of “Through the Fire and Flames” is available now on all major streaming platforms, with the accompanying video streaming online.
