HELLOWEEN Returns With New Album & New Single “This Is Tokyo”

Legendary German band Helloween is back with a new record Giants & Monsters due out on August 29. In the meantime, Helloween is streaming their love letter to Japan by way of a new single called “This Is Tokyo”.
“I’ve always wanted to write this song,” said Helloween vocalist Andi Deris. “Japan plays a special role in my life because I had my first big successes there. I wanted to create a tribute to Japan for a while now and finally found the right lyrics. Because ‘Tokyo’ sounds better than ‘Japan,’ the city stands for a whole country that is very important to me.”
Pre-orders are available here. Helloween will also elebrate four decades of metal mastery with a global 40th anniversary tour. The European leg begins in mid-October, with initial dates selling out quickly and additional shows in Madrid and Bochum already on sale. ALl dates will be opened by Beast In Black.
