KORN’s Self-Titled Anniversary Show At Los Angeles’s BMO Stadium Is Sold Out

If you were planning on going to Korn‘s self-titled anniversary show at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, CA this October, you’re too late – the show has completely sold out. Which now begs the question of if Korn will announced a second (or third) night at the same venue, or an East Coast show, or maybe even a small tour? I guess we’ll find out.

The show features a lineup of both throwback and new bands, consisting of Evanescence, Gojira, Daron Malakian and Scars On Broadway, Spiritbox, and Vended.

“Reflecting on thirty years of Korn fills me with such immense gratitude for our journey, the growth we’ve experienced, and the incredible bond we share with our fans,” said Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis.

“It’s humbling to see how our music has touched so many lives across the globe. From our small club beginnings to now headlining stadiums, it’s been an unforgettable ride, and we owe it all to our amazing, undying, loyal community that’s made it possible. I’m really looking forward to this incredible night to celebrate together.”

Of course, a few questions still remain regarding the show – namely if Fieldly will come back from his three-year hiatus to celebrate the album’s anniversary, and if Korn will actually play Korn in its entirety. Davis stated in a 2022 interview with Metal Hammer that he’s not interested in playing the album closer “Daddy” live anymore, so we’ll see what happens.

“I felt like I robbed the world of doing that live for so long. I felt like I owed it to our fans that were hardcore enough to come and see us on the 20^th anniversary of that album, but I don’t wanna do it again.

“Going out and touring that record, I realized how dark it is – it’s some depressing shit. As we got into Follow The Leader, it became more about groove. The emotion was there, but it wasn’t that particular darkness we captured on that first record.”
