Jake E. Lee was shot multiple times during the early hours of Tuesday, October 15 in Las Vegas, NV.
According to a statement from Lee‘s representatives ABC PR, Las Vegas authorities believe the shooting was “completely random and occurred while Lee took his dog out for a walk in the early morning hours.” The incident is currently under investigation and Lee is doing well in the hospital.

“It’s been 37 years since I’ve seen Jake E. Lee, but that still doesn’t take away from the shock of hearing what happened to him today. It’s just another senseless act of gun violence. I send my thoughts to him and his beautiful daughter, Jade. I just hope he’ll be OK.”
Lee played for Dio in 1982 before moving on to Osbourne‘s band between 1982 to 1987. Lee played on Osbourne‘s 1983 record Bark At The Moon, as well as 1986’s The Ultimate Sin. Lee has since found success with Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel, which he founded in 2013.
