When speaking with Rock News Weekly during Aftershock Festival, Prong dropped some major news about new material from the trio. Lead singer and guitarist for Prong, Timmy Victor, confirmed that the band had plans to release not just one body of work, but two (as transcribed by Blabbermouth):

”We’ve got a live record — it’s called Live And Uncleansed — and that’s coming out in, like, late February. It’s from the last tour we did. We picked and chose from a European tour — picked and chose from a selection of 14 different shows. They really centered around — it came down to four shows that were good, and we picked from them. It’s a short record, though. It’s gonna be just a single vinyl and a single CD. And then we’re going in — we signed to Napalm Records, and the [new Prong] studio album will be out in October next year.”

Prong released their last record in 2023 – State Of Emergency – via Steamhammer, but have now pivoted to Napalm Records. Just shy of their 40th anniversary this year, it looks like the upcoming studio LP will be released around the end of next year. Hell of a way to celebrate 40 years, no?
