SILLY GOOSE Drop Merch With Singer’s Amused Mugshot From Two Weeks Ago And Announce Their ‘Free Silly Goose Tour’

Despite getting permission from employees to play outside a BP gas station in Chicago, Silly Goose‘s frontman Jackson Foster was arrested for the surprise set outside the gas station on August 2nd, right after their performance at Lollapalooza 2025. The incident ended up being covered by the New York Post, Fox News Atlanta, WSB-TV Atlanta, NBC Chicago, Loudwire, ourselves, and more.

Silly Goose has a reputation for these kind of guerrilla-style performances – the band name is indeed quite fitting – and has done so in parking lots and street corners. This was nothing new yet the police intervened and Foster was charged with criminal trespassing and is due to appear in court on September 2nd.

The band have taken it on the chin however, launching a GoFundMe for Foster‘s bail and an attorney that can aid the band in avoiding a conviction that would complicate Silly Goose‘s plan to tour internationally later in autumn.

And now, designing merchandise with ‘Free Silly Goose‘ written on the back, and Jackson Foster‘s black and white mugshot on the front. He has a small smile in the photograph – it is slightly amusing.

The shirt was dropped four days ago in a slideshow posted to Silly Goose‘s Instagram, with a screenshot of Foster‘s colour mugshot and the caption, “The moment we’ve all been waiting for. Limited quantity.”

The last slide of the slideshow says:

Then, two days later, the band announced the “Free Silly Goose” Tour, with five days in December, leading up to Christmas. The tour graphic is of a goose outside of a BP gas station with a police vehicle at the pump.
