Detroit’s self-proclaimed blackened doom trio Temple Of The Fuzz Witch will release their new record Apotheosis on April 5, and is now streaming their latest single “Cursed”. The single fluctuates between all the smoky goodness you could ever want out of a stoner metal track, with just a touch of blackened vocals to really bring down the mood.

“‘Cursed’ delves into the acceptance of nihilistic views and rejecting life,” said Temple Of The Fuzz Witch of the new single. “Mankind has had the tendency to bring a lot of evil into this world and we’re basically saying ‘fuck that’ as we no longer wish to endure the diminishing of civilization. Humanity has a price to pay, and quite frankly, it has already cursed itself.”

Apotheosis was mixed by Pete Grossman at Bricktop Recording, and mastered by Chris Fielding at Skyhammer Studio. Its artwork was created by Sarah Fazriah and Zoro (Mysteriousfour). is available for pre-order here and here in Europe.
