INNA returned to the music scene on Friday (November 2) with a catchy new single called “Ra.” The self-penned anthem represents an important step in the “Hot” hitmaker’s journey from Hi-NRG club queen to a more mature, well-rounded artist. On it, she bows out of a toxic relationship — setting the tone of empowerment for her new era. You see, the Romanian diva recently inked a deal with Roc Nation and is planning to release a Spanish-language album called YO. “I have been looking forward to this moment,” the 32-year-old says.
“After working for two years in the studio, I am honored to present YO to my fans and to release it with a partner like ROC NATION, a worldwide known record label,” INNA continues. “Thank you for all your trust and support, thank you Global Records for your loyalty through all these years. I am hoping that YO will bring happiness, inspiration and delight. Never stop dreaming!” She’s certainly off to a flying start with “Ra.” Watch the striking, minimalist video for the hypnotic bop below.
