It happened! Black Sabbath‘s original lineup of Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward will play one final farewell show this July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham, England. The show marks the first time (and last) Black Sabbath is playing with original drummer Bill Ward, who was cut out of the band’s final tour and album roughly one decade again.

“It’s my time to go Back to the Beginning… time for me to give back to the place where I was born,” said Osbourne. “How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”

The show also appears to be Osbourne‘s farewell show, who notes he’ll “play his own short set before joining with Black Sabbath for his final bow.” The full lineup for Back To The Beginning is:

  • Black Sabbath
  • Ozzy Osbourne
  • Metallica
  • Slayer
  • Pantera
  • Gojira
  • Halestorm
  • Alice In Chains
  • Lamb of God
  • Anthrax
  • Mastodon
  • Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins)
  • David Draiman (Disturbed)
  • Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses)
  • Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit)
  • Lzzy Hale (Halestorm)
  • Jake E Lee (ex-Ozzy Osbourne)
  • Jonathan Davis (Korn)
  • KK Downing (ex-Judas Priest)
  • Mike Bordin (Faith No More)
  • Papa V Perpetua (Ghost)
  • Rudy Sarzo
  • Sammy Hagar
  • Slash (Guns N’ Roses)
  • Sleep Token’s II (Sleep Token)
  • Tom Morello
  • Wolfgang Van Halen

Tickets for the show go on sale February 14 at 10am GMT here. All profits will go to Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice, a Children’s Hospice supported by Aston Villa.

For those unaware, Black Sabbath sadly ended with only three-fourths of its classic lineup in tact. Osbourne, Iommi, and Butler released their final album as Black Sabbath named 13 in 2013 and embarked on a farewell tour without Ward, who quit the band (or was fired depending on who you ask) in 2012 due to contract disputes. 13 featured Rage Against The Machine drummer Brad Wilk, while the final shows featured Osbourne‘s solo band drummer Tommy Clufetos.
