VOLBEAT Announce New Album, Gods of Angels Trust, New Single, “By A Monster’s Hand” AND A Tour

VOLBEAT fans are about to be the brokest metalheads on the planet because the rock’n’roll-metal fusion band has just announced their new album, Gods of Angels Trust, due out on June 6th, with a coinciding massive North American tour.

Alongside the announcement, the band also dropped a music video for their brand new single, “By A Monster’s Hand.” The relentless single is just a taste of the ten-track record that will be available in over ten physical formats in various retailers this summer.

VOLBEAT vocalist MICHAEL POULSEN says that this was the fastest record that VOLBEAT ever created, and that was a conscious decision: “In the past, I’ve taken a long time to write and obsessed over so many elements of the songs before finishing them. This time, I wanted to make a VOLBEAT record without thinking too much about it. Instead of following any kind of structure I said, ‘Okay, there are no rules. I can do anything I want. I can start with a chorus or do songs that are just a bunch of verses stacked on top of each other. Anything goes.’ That was freeing for me and made it exciting to write this album.” In total, it took the band 13 days to complete the record once they entered the studio with their producer, JACOB HANSEN.

Not only was the writing process different for the band, but Gods of Angels Trust also sees FLEMMING C. LUND take over as lead guitarist.

The record is out June 6th and the band plan on celebrating by kicking off their co-headlining tour with THREE DAYS GRACE and WAGE WAR in Vancouver on the 7th.
