GOD’S HATE Frontman BRODY KING Launches New “Abolish ICE” Shirt – Proceeds To Go To Charity Helping Families Impacted By Raids

Anyone who says alternative music isn’t political is genuinely just fucking wrong. The proof in itself is within the word alternative – it’s defined as “relating to activities that depart from or challenge traditional norms.” Challenging traditional norms is inherently political – and another metalcore band is challenging something that is threatening to become a norm.

God’s Hate frontman – and elite wrestler – Brody King has been incredibly vocal over the last few weeks regarding the occupation of ICE in major US cities, including walking into the wrestling ring a few days ago, wearing a shirt that said ‘Abolish ICE.’ And this guy is so fucking beefed up, I’d be terrified if I were an ICE agent – check it out.

Now, Brody King has just launched a brand new shirt showcasing a cartoon detail of that very moment that he shows off his ‘Abolish ICE’ shirt ahead of his fight.

In a photo posted to Instagram, King includes the designs with the caption:

“ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO LOCAL HEARTS FOUNDATION TO HELP FAMILIES IMPACTED BY ICE RAIDS. AVAILABLE ON THE EDGEMENSTORE NOW,” while crediting Travis Thorton as responsible for the design.

Local Hearts Foundation is responsible for running events like their Back To School Drive in which they supply disadvantaged children with school supplies for the year, their Thanksgiving Drive in which they help families enjoy a Thanksgiving meal, and their Christmas Scholars events.

In this specific situation, it appears the foundation is currently providing cash to immigrants working on the streets. Specifically, LHF is giving “[the workers] some cash to eat and pay a couple of bills. That way, [they can] breathe for a minute without risking everything,” says Local Hearts Foundation in a caption on Instagram.
