Watch ABBATH’s Entire IMMORTAL Covers Set From Hellfest 2025
Abbath left Immortal way back in 2015, but that hardly means he’s done with his former band’s music. Abbath has recently announced a series of live shows where he’s playing Immortal material, one of which happened at Hellfest Open Air over the weekend. That set was:
- “Sons Of Northern Darkness”
- “In My Kingdom Cold”
- “Tyrants”
- “All Shall Fall”
- “One By One”
- “Mountains Of Might”
- “The Call Of The Wintermoon”
- “Blashyrkh (Mighty Ravendark)”
- “The Sun No Longer Rises”
- “Withstand The Fall Of Time”
- “At The Heart Of Winter”
Abbath left Immortal in 2015 and has since been pursing a solo career. Immortal eventually put out Northern Chaos Gods in 2018 featuring Demonaz and Horgh, followed by War Against All in 2023 featuring Demonaz alongside studio musicians Ice Dale (Enslaved) and Kevin Kvåle (Gaahls Wyrd).
Immortal has not played a show since 2013, so I guess Abbath finally taking that material to that stage makes sense right? Immortal doesn’t seem interested in doing it.
