AMON AMARTH Unleashes New Viking Anthem “We Rule The Waves”

Sweden’s undisputed purveyors of all things Viking metal Amon Amarth has returned with thunderous force thanks to their brand new single “We Rule The Waves”. Produced by Grammy-nominated heavyweight Jacob Hansen — renowned for his work with Volbeat, Arch Enemy, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Katatonia — “We Rule The Waves” delivers a relentless assault of galloping riffs, crashing rhythms, and mythic grandeur. It also has talks about how they’re Vikings, just in case you forgot.

The official music video, filmed in Riga, Latvia, continues the band’s dynamic visual collaboration with director Pavel Trebukhin of Tre Film, who previously helmed the band’s visually stunning videos for “The Great Heathen Army,” “Heidrun,” and “Saxons & Vikings.” In true Amon Amarth fashion, the video is as cinematic as it is brutal.
