Borito are amongst the latest wave of independent music artists from Israel. Mixing together crisp melodic vocals and poppy beats the Indie pop trio from Tel Aviv are one very dreamy listen.
Ahead of “What We Have Now” due out later this year, their first single “Nice & Slowly” from the album is the perfect little teaser. Lead singer and guitarist Yael weaves magic in between perfectly curated dream pop in “Nice & Slowly” loaded with edifying themes of childhood innocence and the freedoms of loving and creating that are synonymous with it.
Yael’s vocals are reminiscent of Sarah Cracknell’s from 90’s trio Saint Etienne, both pristine and commanding; Borito’s dance pop sound not dissimilar either.“Nice & Slowly” shines an exciting light on what will surely be a beautiful album.
