Karol G Announces New Album ‘No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto’

It is official: Karol G is entering a bold new era. The Colombian superstar has officially announced her sixth studio LP, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto. Fans will not have to wait long to experience the new project, as it is scheduled for release on August 7.

Karol G shared the exciting news during her recent tour stop at Rogers Stadium in Toronto as part of her Viajando Por El Mundo trek. “I’ve been working on a project for a couple of months,” she told the crowd in Spanish. “I’ve been locked in for months making new music. For months, I’ve been preparing a segment that will form part of this tour. I want to announce that on August 7, my new album will come out. It’s an album that I can’t wait to sing with all of you.”

During the announcement, the superstar unveiled the official cover artwork, which features a striking blue-tinted aesthetic. This visual direction aligns with the subtle hints she has been dropping on social media for months. Since announcing her tour in April, Karol G has leaned heavily into this blue color palette for her promotional materials and tour trailers. “If you think you’ve already seen it all, remember that La Bichota always surprises you,” she noted previously.

The momentum for this release has been building steadily. Just last week, the singer debuted a new song titled “Matadora” during the opening night of her tour. While an official tracklist for No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto has yet to be confirmed, the unapologetic track is widely expected to be included on the record.

This release marks a significant milestone in what has been a transformative period for the artist. In a recent cover story for Elle, she reflected on her personal and artistic evolution, stating, “The next version of me will be new to people, but it’s always been there, dormant.”
