Lady Bird – Political Wasteland

Kent’s very own punks Lady Bird are back again, this time with their pounding new single ‘Political Wasteland’. The release follows their outstanding EP ‘Brainwash Machine Setting’ and its clear the band has continued along the road of their sharp, rebellious attitudes… The track, coming in at three and a half minutes, has embodied elements of Ska and blended them with the sharp riffs off punk, providing the basis of the bold political statement the song offers.

The boys have managed to blend a whole plethora of legendary music styles and create a sound that feels unique. The biting tones of Don Bird fire the song forward into a new direction as the sharp lyricisms engulf the song as well as the ears of the listener.

It seems this song could also become somewhat of a live favourite too, as the pounding drums and distorted guitars lay the boundaries for pandemonium in the mosh pit.
