Sophie and the Giants – Right Now

‘Right Now’ is the new single from Sheffield pop band Sophie and the Giants, fronted as ever by the formidable Sophie.

After the surprise European smash hit ‘Hypnotised’ went viral in 2020, currently being certified triple platinum in Italy and platinum in Poland, old fans and new alike must have been wondering how they would be able to follow up. Thankfully it’s with a searing pop banger which is a must listen for fans of artists such as Christine and the Queens and La Roux. The Giants provide a wonderful beat and funky bass line to beautifully compliment Sophie’s rapturous voice to create a euphoric bop. I love this track as its happy tone is contagious and left me in the mood to party.
