Strange Souvenirs – Nothing2

Strange Souvenirs together with producer and creative collaborator Cameron James Laing turned a downtrodden demo into something melancholy, majestic… and a little bit mental. This is an ambitious song that shows the musical prowess of its creators. With Beatles-esque qualities, meshing together with elements of 90s Britpop, we adore this. 

Listen through headphones for a full immersive experience – there’s so much to listen to. From interwoven musical textures (guitar, piano, synths), to a beautiful vocal arrangement. The lyrics are tinged with a certain nostalgia, yet the song remains hopeful too, with it’s unusual chord progression choice which seems to lead us into a feeling of suspense and in turn of hope, throughout.
