Torture And The Desert Spiders – Sinéad, I’m Afraid
‘Sinéad, I’m Afraid’ is the pummeling, energetic new single from Torture and the Desert Spiders – and I’m confident enough to say that this track really does hit the right spot!
The power of this recording is admiring the graft that’s gone into the song writing. There is nothing better than a chorus that drifts in and out of the song seamlessly, and it’s refreshing to see a truly wonderful piece of craftsmanship has gone into the track. The song packs a punch to say it clocks in at just under three minutes, yet the hooking, distinctive voice is enough for you to hit the repeat button time and time again.
This song would certainly be at its finest live, as it may initially sound like some of the instruments are a little dry in the mix (but this is just me being picky, the track is so good its hard to find a fault with it at all!). Even speaking as someone who isn’t a huge fan of guitar breaks, the solo that can be heard in the lastest Torture single is nothing more than authentic, melodical excellence.
‘Sinéad, I’m Afraid’ is released today. Make sure to catch Torture and The Desert Spiders at one of their upcoming UK shows, I can assure you that you will not regret it!
