HOLY BLADE (TWITCHING TONGUES, COSMIC JOKE) Channels AFI Very Effectively

Holy Blade – the new band featuring frontman and guitarist Alec Faber (God’s Hate, Twitching Tongues), Twitching Tongues members Colin Young and Mike Cesario, and Cosmic Joke‘s Mac Miller on drums – surfaced earlier this year with their debut EP and they’ve already followed it up with a new single.

Holy Blade really, truly channels that early AFI sound perfectly. It’s catchy as hell, it’s got enough of a punch in the production that it cuts right through your speakers, and it’s perfect for the Halloween season. I mean seriously, if “Only The Dead” wraps up and you haven’t turned the volume up a few notches, you may be incapable of feeling joy.
