MIKE PORTNOY Names His Top 10 Albums Of 2024

Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy has published his Top 10 Albums Of 2024 list on his social media, and it’s pretty diverse! Well, it’s certainly heavy on the progressive rock and metal, but still – it’s a solid list. Of course Blood Incantation‘s wildly popular Absolute Elsewhere made the list (which is unsurprising), as did Opeth‘s growl-heavy The Last Will And Testament. This is also a good reminder to check out Frost*‘s latest record Life In The Wires. Portnoy‘s full list is:

Dream Theater will hit the road for their 40^th anniversary tour across North America next month.The tour is scheduled for 30 cities across the United States and Canada and kicks off on February 7 in Philadelphia, PA and runs through March 22 for the band’s hometown show in New York City.
