SCOTT IAN & DANNY LILKER To Pay Tribute To STORMTROOPERS OF DEATH At Milwaukee Metal Fest 2025

Stormtroopers Of Death isn’t reuniting, but this is the closest thing we’ve got! Stormbreeders Of Death – the new Stormtroopers Of Death tribute band featuring Stormtroopers Of Death guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Danny Lilker alongside Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta on vocals and Ian‘s son Revel Ian on drums – has been booked for Milwaukee Metal Fest on the May 16 date at The Rave / Eagles Club in Milwaukee, WI.

Like previous years at MMF we have another special tribute set to announce!” wrote Milwaukee Metal Fest organizers. “A tribute to S.O.D. that features both Scott Ian from Anthrax and Danny Lilker from Nuclear Assault + Jamey Jasta from Hatebreed handling vocals and Scott‘s son Revel Ian doing drum duty! Scott has a long history w/ MMF having headlined the festival w/ Anthrax, Mr. Bungle & S.O.D. It’s an honor to have him back in 2025. ‘I can’t wait to jam these songs with my friends and family! Sgt. D is coming!’ says Scott.”

Stormtroopers Of Death was a shortlived crossover thrash band formed in 1985. The band featured Ian and Lilker alongside Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante and vocalist Billy Milano, and put out two albums – Speak English Or Die in 1985 and Bigger Than The Devil in 1999.
