Icebeatchillz Fires Up The Afro-Dancehall Scene

Icebeatchillz, the Nigerian producer and artist previously known as Ice Beat, made the Afro-dancehall scene talk about him thanks to his new release, “Area.” The song was conceived with legendary dancehall master Beenie Man, and released via Crystal Clear Records. In the past, Icebeatchillz has worked with List Entertainment, the renowned African Record Label, previously a management agency. Ice previously worked for the label producing and writing songs for other artists. The talented producer/artist soon realized he wanted to be on the other side of things, and launched his own career as an artist. 

The visuals for the release were directed by Nigeria’s top director, Adasa Cookey, and co-directed by Jamaican video director Steven Bernard. They show the beauty of Nigeria and Jamaica, the homelands of Icebeatchillz and Beenie Man.
