The Crown is now streaming a re-recording of their 1997 track “Hunger” from Eternal Death. The re-recording originally appeared as a Japanese bonus track on their latest record Crown Of Thorns, which of course a lot of us missed considering its regional exclusivity. “Hunger 2024” was recorded and engineered by Marko Tervonen, and mixed and mastered by Jonas Kjellgren.

Crown Of Thorns is named after The Crown‘s original band name before it got changed in 1998, and is the first to feature new bassist Mattias “Arvid” Rasmussen and new drummer Mikael Norén. Crown Of Thorns is also The Crown‘s first album since 2010 to feature guitarist Marcus Sunesson, who left the band in 2012. Crown Of Thorns is available here.
