Bleachers Kick Off the Rolling Stone Rock Tour in New Orleans
The 2026 Rolling Stone Rock Tour, presented by Miller High Life, officially launched in New Orleans on May 20, with Bleachers delivering a high-octane set at The Fillmore. Fronted by the prolific Jack Antonoff, the band treated fans to a mix of classic hits and fresh material from their latest album, Everyone for Ten Minutes.
The evening was defined by a sense of community and a shared love for live music. Antonoff, who has recently been vocal about the challenges facing the concert industry, emphasized the importance of keeping live performances accessible. “I love this industry so much and don’t believe that concerts should be for rich kids only,” he noted, reiterating his commitment to advocating for fans and artists alike.

The tour opener also featured compelling performances from opening acts Been Stellar and Thomas Dollbaum, both of whom set a vibrant tone for the night. Dollbaum, a singer-songwriter and carpenter based in New Orleans, received a warm welcome from the crowd, while New York-based rock band Been Stellar showcased the raw energy that has made them a standout in the modern scene.
As the tour continues across the country, with upcoming stops in Denver, Chicago, New York, San Diego, and Nashville, the spirit of the New Orleans kick-off serves as a testament to the enduring power of rock music. For Antonoff, the mission remains clear: to keep shouting about the value of live music and ensuring that the connection between artist and audience remains stronger than ever.
