Dream Theater is bringing the video portion of their upcoming live album Quarantième: Live à Paris to the big screen for one night only.

AMC Theatres will host a special advance screening of the full concert film on November 17 at 7:00 pm local time in select cities, including Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and more.

The show, captured in Paris in 4K Ultra HD with immersive Atmos audio, runs a generous 175 minutes and is designed to feel closer to being in the room than watching another routine live clip at home. Fans attending the event will also be able to access exclusive color vinyl variants and event-only merchandise through a QR code displayed inside participating theaters. Tickets are priced at $18.00 and are available now via AMC’s website.

The cinema event leads into the full physical and digital release of Quarantième: Live à Paris on November 28 via longtime label partners Inside Out Music/Sony Music. The lineup of James LaBrie (vocals), John Petrucci (guitar), John Myung (bass), Jordan Rudess (keyboards), and Mike Portnoy (drums) used the Paris show to trace the band’s history in real time, pulling from across the catalog rather than leaning on just one era. Cornerstones like “Metropolis Pt. 1”, “Panic Attack”, “Octavarium”, and “Pull Me Under” all make their appearance, anchoring a set built for both the lifers and the fans who discovered them late.

Ahead of the album’s release, the band has shared live footage of “Overture 1928 / Strange Déjà Vu”, offering a first look at the production and chemistry on display. More recently, they followed it with a version of “Barstool Warrior” from the same show, underlining how comfortably the newer material sits beside the staples.

Quarantième: Live à Paris is being treated as a definitive document, and the release formats back that up. The concert arrives as a Limited Deluxe 3CD+3Blu-ray artbook edition, featuring a 68-page collection of photos and artwork plus an extra Blu-ray of bonus material; as a Special Edition 3CD+2Blu-ray digipak; as a Limited Deluxe 180g 4LP box set; and via all major digital platforms.

The Blu-ray includes the full performance with Dolby Atmos, 5.1 surround, and high-resolution stereo mixes—clear signals that the band expects fans to actually sit down and experience the show, not just skim through it.
