HUE Is An Exciting New Group Uniquely Blending Metal & Rap

A couple of days ago, I caught wind of a brand new music video from Washington DC upstarts called Hue, and I’ve been maniacally hooked ever since. Their fresh blend of friendly contemporary sounds met with djenty metal, a hook you can’t shake, and elements of their DC urban culture, creates the perfect blend in their debut single “Home” that will surely hit listeners with a vibe that’ll keep them coming back for more. 

It’s extremely rare to find a band that gets me excited right out of the gate, with only one single to their name that’s merely a few days old. However, after several repeat listens I didn’t waste another moment before extending them an invite to this year’s Metal Injection Festival, and I couldn’t be more stoked to have them on board! 

Although still a band in their infancy stages, I can already see big things on the horizon for this trio, and a uniquely fresh experience for the metal scene.
