Danish death metal band Strychnos will release their sophomore record Armageddon Patronage on on May 17, and is now streaming the debut single “Winds Warning The Final Storm”. Armageddon Patronage will also feature a guest spot from superfan Michael Poulsen of Volbeat on the track “Endless Void Dimension”, which is awesome considering Poulsen‘s ventures back into death metal lately.

“This release will showcase a natural continuation of what A Mother’s Curse began,” said Strychnos bassist and vocalist Martin Leth Andersen.

“The band seeks to refine and push further key elements from the debut – in ways of both aggressiveness and the more atmospheric parts. This follow-up also showcases an array of new details like alternative instrumentation, vocal variations, intros, outros, and a couple of noticeable guest appearances.”

Armageddon Patronage was recorded and mixed by Lasse Ballade at Copenhagen’s Ballade Studios, and mastered by Necromorbus‘ infamous Tore Stjerna. Album artwork by Phoebus Moreleón/Lïv & Död. Pre-orders are available here.
