VOLBEAT To Hit The Studio Next Week
Volbeat is all prepped to hit the studio next week for the follow-up to their 2021 album Servant Of The Mind. According to Volbeat frontman Michael Poulsen in the below video, Volbeat will once again work with Jacob Hansen on the new material as they have on every record prior.
“Hello, Volbeat listeners and fans out there,” said Poulsen. “Today is the last rehearsal day for Volbeat before we enter the Jacob Hansen studio next week. We have all the songs we need for the next album. It’s gonna be out next year. Can’t wait. The next update that’s gonna be from Volbeat is gonna be from the Jacob Hansen studio. See you soon.”
The new record will also be their first since the departure of guitarist Rob Caggiano in 2023. The last Volbeat record without Caggiano was Beyond Hell / Above Heaven in 2010. It’ll also be the band’s first since Poulsen underwent throat surgery in 2023.
