‘Future Talks’ is the new single by South Carolina based trio Babe Club. It’s a song that takes a few different influences in. Power guitars, an early Blondies vibe, lo-fi 90’s rock, 80’s keys and even some bontempi-esque computer game sounds. It’s a mix that probably shouldn’t work but it does and it makes for an enjoyable track. Even vocalist Jenna Desmond’s voice changes through out the song. At times it feels nearly off-key flat whilst at others it’s a sugary treat. Again, it shouldn’t work but…
