Norah Lilith – Misfed

Alluring and ethereal all under one roof, ‘Misfed’ is the enchanting new release from alternative songwriter Nora Lilith. Consistently genre-less, try labelling this track to one specific avenue, hard isn’t it? The perfect introduction into the artists distinctive discography, Nora’s sound captures various lo-fi electronic soundscapes as well as experimental bedroom beats, house, R&B and Jazz. ‘Misfed’ comes across as intimate in places yet mesmerising throughout. Finding her playground between the space of the keys and synths, the DIY artist wrote, recorded and produced the track herself. 

Speaking about the release, Nora shares, “this track was a pivotal one in my evolution as an artist, especially as a vocalist and lyricist. I remember around that time period I was really struggling to write lyrics in a way that intrigued me. When I paid too close attention to the poeticism or emotional accuracy of my own lyrics while writing them, they always seemed to fall short for me.“
