Italian Pop Singer Lucy Clue Keeps All Eyes On Her With Debut Single “In Your Eyes”

It’s been almost a year since Lucy Clue came out with her amazing single “In Your Eyes” that featured an impressive fusion of neo-soul, pop, hip-hop, and electronic music. The Italian-born Germany-based singer-songwriter showcased utmost quality with her first ever track that saw listeners recognize Lucy Clue’s unique talent. 

The main beat for “In Your Eyes” was provided by veteran producer Eddie Vance, and Lucy Clue even took the beat name and applied it to her single. As the artist describes, the lyrics came to her as soon as she heard the beat, and she did her fanatic freestyle on the spot, which made for most of the track. She describes the song as “The sound of the beat was very 80s stylistic and it was the first time I experimented with that style of beats.” She continues, “‘In Your Eyes’ had this [oldies] feeling and this evoked a process of a bunch of new songs that I wrote the last 2 years that meet new sounds from nowadays.” Check out the song below!
